Wonderlab took part in the 2022 edition of the Innovation Village, held on 27th and 28th of October. In the spectacular setting used as a congress for entrepreneurs and startups, some of our collaborators were able to experience the sense of innovation and progress that many realities in the Campania region promoted during the two days in Naples. The company was able to give space and prominence to the various projects nearing completion, focusing its attention - in particular - on WonderSalerno. The activity that has occupied a large part of the company workforce represents the hook that linked Wonderlab to the initiative promoted by the Campania Region.
A team effort, in which the startup has managed to give life to an innovative and congenial product. The graphic presentation of the WonderSalerno project was also made possible by the projection of images and videos that the Wonderlab hologram projected at its stand. WonderSalerno is the realization of a dream, an idea that has been hatching since the beginning of the foundation of Wonderlab, in December 2018. The strong relationship that binds the founders of the startup to the history of the city of Hippocrates has made it possible to produce an App, through which tourists and citizens of Salerno will be able to see the 3D reconstructions of historic buildings but also enjoy real virtual representations, similar to theatrical performances, able to re-propose in a real "season of events" extended to the whole city area.
The Neapolitan event of the Innovation Village saw hosted the meeting that saw the startups involved with the top management of the Campania Region. Specifically, Valeria Fascione, Councilor for Research, Innovation and Startups for Campania Region and Annalisa De Simone, Director of Research, Supervision and Control of the Directorate General for University, Research and Innovation. Many projects presented and initiatives that have brought prestige to the region in terms of renewal. As for Wonderlab, the innovation manager Dario Guadagno intervened and focused on the principles and methods that make WonderSalerno an app truly usable for everyone: "The central idea of the project - he declared in the speech held at the City of Science - it is the creation of real virtual representations, similar to theatrical performances, to be enjoyed through augmented reality and to be re-proposed in a real "season of events". The “spectacles” will become, for users, a continuous opportunity to go to the area, in order to experience an ever-changing path in a unique context.
The collaborators Giuseppe Vitolo, Gelsomino Calzaretta and Annalaura Ruopolo were also present for the Wonderlab team during the two days in Naples.
