A naturalistic trail about 9 kilometers long, the Path of the Gods has become famous thanks to its suggestive panoramic view that crosses the Amalfi Coast, presenting a rich Mediterranean scrub dominated by the vine that grows along the ridge of the Lattari mountains and the blue sea of the coast from which it is possible to see the island of Capri.
The name would originate from legends and historical events: on one hand, the Greek deities would have traveled precisely these paths to save Ulysses from the sirens of the Li Galli island, on the other, the writer Italo Calvino described this stretch as that road suspended over the magical gulf of the "Sirens" still furrowed today by memory and myth.
The Path of the Gods starts from a fraction of Agerola (Bomerano) and ends in the upper part of Positano (Nocelle) for a total length of about 10 kilometers (round trip). During the 7-hour journey it is possible to find protective structures for the most demanding points, panoramic terraces from which to admire the Faraglioni of the island of Capri, Punta Penna, the Li Galli island and the Lattari Mountains, as well as comfortable wooden benches and various springs of drinking water.
